From Monday the 18th until Friday the 22nd, we’ll be hosting an event every day in celebration of the bright summer skies. Join us for a week full of fun and activities!
On Monday, compete in the Windswept Gauntlet to complete challenging flight courses as fast as possible for a prize.
On Tuesday, get an opportunity to join Sky Sculptures and build a flying statue in Creative Mode to be featured around the world.
On Wednesday, come to the Sky Palace for the Celebration of the Clouds where you’ll have the chance to grab some exclusive elytra.
On Thursday, help out Grebe and participate in the Great Wind Hunt to collect a hundred scattered scrolls for a prize.
On Friday, join together for a Flight Across The World where we’ll take a world-wide scenic flight across the entirety of Pyrrhia and Pantala all together as a final celebration.
Summer Flight Festival Day 1: The Windswept Gauntlet
Monday is the day of the Windswept Gauntlet, a series of flight courses in which you will race against others to fly through all the rings and get to the end of the course as fast as possible. There will be multiple courses and score will be kept by seconds. The lower the score, the higher you rank. For each ring you miss, a ten-second penalty is added to your score. The player with the lowest score overall will receive an exclusive set of festival elytra.
What to bring:
- A pair of elytra
- LOTS of firework rockets (you will be able to purchase some at the event)
Where to go:
There will be a teleport within the Server Events and Minigames area of the hub.
When to arrive:
The event will start at 4 PM Pacific Time on Monday.
